Commissioning Manager for Power Plants

Krishnan & Associates, Inc. These projects are primarily new construction projects involving supercritical coal fired power technology and Combined Cycle Natural Gas power plants.

Partial Listing of Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

1. Candidate should have been Head / Lead Commissioning Engineer for power plants with supercritical coal or Combined Cycle gas turbine technology.
2. Coordinate with engineering, construction, planning, project management and operations departments.
3. Chart out commissioning processes & plan completion schedules with agreement of key stakeholders.
4. Foresee bottlenecks in commissioning activities & ensure monitoring of the same.
5. Prepare a structured procedure of “plug-list” items to be completed before hand over of the project and after mechanical completion.
6. Prepare final commissioning records for handover as well as Implement a commissioning diary with records.
7. Develop systems to monitor plant performance, investigate and correct any abnormal conditions.
8. Experience in successful commissioning of plants of 500+ MW capacity.
