Vice President, Mechanical Outage Services
Krishnan & Associates, Inc. provides specialized search services in researching and locating executive, management and engineering talent required for business success in the power industry. The CLIENT COMPANY is an independent global service provider to the power generation industry. The client has an immediate need for a Vice President of its Mechanical Outage Services Division. This individual will be responsible for the P&L center including sales, estimating, project execution and financial reporting. The successful candidate will oversee a team of project managers, superintendents, technicians, craft laborers, and various subcontractors. Job knowledge and skills required include: 1. 5+ years in a position of P&L responsibility 2. 15+ years of power generational mechanical experience, specifically in the maintenance and repair of coal-fired utility boilers3. 15+ years in the estimating and financial responsibility of installation, outages, and turnarounds4. Experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, HRSGs, and piping systems 5. Ability to manage multiple projects and conduct site visits as necessary 6. Estimating capabilities and financial tracking of multiple projects 7. Ability to support business development activities 8. Knowledge of ASME codes will be helpful Education 9. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred Other Requirements 10. ASME / ISO / Six Sigma / Other quality system knowledge 11.
