RE was also the founder of the Worldwide Pollution Control Association (WPCA), a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage technical exchange of information covering pollution control technology on a worldwide basis. WPCA’s members are pollution control technology users, and its corporate sponsors include over 22 equipment and technology providers. With RE’s assistance, WPCA has organized seminars in South Africa, Europe, Asia and the USA.
