Krishnan & Associates, Inc. (K&A) is working on a retained search assignment for a super critical unit being built by a large Independent Power Producer. The positions to be filled are on a fast track and as follows: 1. Commissioning Manager – Operations & Maintenance This position will be responsible for planning, execution & documentation of all site commissioning activities, through the various stages from pre-commissioning to construction to commissioning and start-up of the plant. 2. Construction Manager – Mechanical Erection This position will be responsible for successful progress & completion of all mechanical activities related to the plant in stipulated parameters of time, cost and quality and safe working condition. 3. Construction Planner The Construction Planner will interact with Central Planning Group Head and will assume overall responsibility for planning, scheduling, and tracking of construction activities. This position will take overall responsibility for construction performance reporting, and MIS. 4. Corporate Boiler Engineer & Turbine Engineer (2 separate positions) The corporate boiler and turbine engineer (2 separate positions) will be responsible for developing a boiler and turbine troubleshooting, diagnostic, analysis and field service team. The candidate should have experience in managing the centralized boiler/turbine services group of a large electric utility with knowledge of a wide range of issues concerning boilers and turbines. This position will be responsible for developing a centralized boiler /turbine analysis group that provides diagnostic solutions and services for a rapidly growing fleet of super and sub-critical power plants. 5. Chief of Operations, Coal Mine Chief of Operations, Coal Mine, will be responsible in leading the operations of multiple large open cast coal mines. The individual must have experience in operating a large coal mine providing expertise in streamlining operations, developing systems/standards, operating procedures, evacuation procedures, mining equipment selection, etc. The position is a senior level position with a highly attractive expatriate compensation package These senior level positions offer an excellent financial package comprising good compensation and excellent benefits.
